History

Music

DDRKirby(ISQ) has been producing music since 2004 and has released over 1,000 songs on his Bandcamp page. Some of his most well-known works are rearrangements of video game tracks -- in particular, his remix of "Lonely Rolling Star" from Katamari Damacy and his remix of the Bowser theme from Super Mario 64. A large part of his music production comes from weekly "One Hour Compo" events, where participants are tasked with creating a song from scratch in just one hour.

Games

DDRKirby(ISQ) has created dozens of small indie games since ~2011. Most of these games are entries from "Ludum Dare" game jam events, where participants are tasked with creating a game from scratch in the span of a single weekend. Some of his most well-known works include the music games "Ripple Runner", "Melody Muncher", and "Samurai Shaver", which took 1st place overall in Ludum Dare 40. DDRKirby(ISQ) makes up one half of "Cocoa Moss", a team that strives to make heartwarming games to share with others. More recently his focus has been turned toward "Rhythm Quest" a full-scale rhythm game.
